I know that it is December and that you're probably not in the mood for ice cream, but I'm putting a post on here about making your own ice cream. ( You can also save this recipe for summer!) All you need is the following. ( You are the ice cream machine). I am demonstrating this with hot chocolate mix, but you can use whatever flavor you want. . 1 gallon bag ( Ziploc) . 1 half gallon bag ( Ziploc) . 3 cups crushed ice . 1/3 cup rock salt ( the kind you use for regular homemade ice cream) . 1 packet of hot chocolate powder packet ( or whatever flavored powder is your priority) . 1/2 cup Half and Half milk ( you can find them in cafes) . 1 tablespoon sugar (optional) That's it! So easy, right? So now, to make it. Step 1#. First, dump your hot chocolate packet into a half gallon bag. ( Use it all!) This is the time to add in 1 tablespoon sugar. Step 2#.
