W stands for Wow!
Have you been to the snow this year? (2018) If you haven't, there's still plenty of time left to head up past the Valley Zone and into the Snow Zone. We went up near Lake Tahoe and into a winter wonderland!
It went from no snow to all snow in a matter of minutes! While the sun was still shining brightly in the sky, we strapped on our snow gear and headed for the hills! The first hill I did was a little puny foot tall hill. When I got to the real deal, I sledded at full speed down a snowy slope and finally touched the bottom after a great deal of trying to stop my sled. In the process, and very strangely as well, my boots and my socks fell off periodically down the hill. When I finally stopped myself, I pulled my boots and socks back on the sled and trekked barefooted up the hill. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME OR WHEN YOU TRAVEL TO THE SNOW! O yes, I was in the most pain of my whole life! My toes were screaming in pain and half of the time, I couldn't feel them. If you think it's fun to be bare footed in the snow, YOU ARE WRONG!!!!
Next after that, we drove to a snowy terrain where large, overly noisy snowmobiles were roaring all over the place. It was very dangerous to ride downhill on a sled because suddenly, you were riding down the slope, and next, you were leaping frantically out of the way to avoid being squashed by a passing snowmobile. Although, it was still very fun!!!! Me and my sister discovered that if you find fresh no-tracks snow, and if you gently scoop off the top layer, you get Really Really Soft Pillowy Powdery Delicious Soft Snow! (Lemme hear you say yum!) The snow may be cold! The snow may be wet! The snow may be like playing in frozen powdered water for a literalist! But still, make sure you visit it! It's gloriously wonderofulous!!! ( If you're wondering, that was a made up word)!!!

Unless you are climbing up a hill with a sled
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun but I am not a fan of snow as you know. Just snow cones!! Or shave ice. You should have taken some snow cone juice and made your own!
